Students seeking to add ECS 6645 need to fill out the form below in order to be added to enrollment lists. Keep in mind that you must have successfully completed the prerequisites. If any of the prerequisites have not been completed you are at risk of being removed from the list and your slot given to a student who has completed all the prerequisites. The three prerequisites are: 1) a diversity course, 2) a course that has provided an overview of general assessment concepts, and 3) a course that has covered language awareness, 1st & 2nd language acquisition.

As a WLMA student, if you've taken L2 methods or CBI (you should have been exposed to the basics of assessment) that meets prerequisite 2 and if you've taken any Linguistics course focused on language acquisition that should cover the 3rd prerequisite. If you haven't meet any of the prerequisites but want to be added to the enrollment list for a future semester when your prerequisites will be met, you can also let me know that in your next email. This course fills quickly each semester thus we begin to take names to add students to enrollment lists for future semesters beginning as early as a year ahead of time.
