URBAN Leadership

The Urban Research Based Action Network (URBAN) recognized Dr. Antunes's work in creating pathways and support systems to help youths of color get to the University of Utah campus and then have support once they become a student. Partnering with Youth Voices, Antunes has helped create a tiered-mentorship structure in which faculty mentor west side university alumna; alumna mentor current undergrads; undergrads mentor high school students. She is also co-chair of the URBAN Utah Chapter. To read more about Dr. Antunes's work, visit here.
