Juan Carlos Fernandez has won the Utah Foreign Language Association Award for Foreign Language Teacher of the year.
Promoting Learning of World Languages
Juan Carlos Fernandez--a first-year PhD student--has won the Utah Foreign Language Association's Teacher of the Year award. The award is given to those that promote the "learning of world languages and cultures in Utah." Nominees may teach any language or combination of foreign languages, may teach in public or private schools, and must have taught for a minimum of 3 years.
