Dr. Verónica E. Valdez has been elected by her peers to be Chair of the Special Interest Group Executive Committee for AERA (American Educational Research Association). Dr. Valdez will serve from 2021-2022, and while chair, she will also serve as a member of the AERA Council. We are proud of Dr. Valdez's achievement and know that the AERA SIG Executive Committee will benefit from her expertise.
